Family Resource Center

The Parenting Department consists of a team of trauma informed and professionally trained Parent Educators. The Family Links program utilizes the evidence-based Parents As Teachers (PAT) curriculum. Our mission is to give parents the education, tools, and community resources necessary to promote optimal early childhood development and strengthen families. Staff prepare personally formatted lessons and activities for each family that is served. Visits are conducted in-home, phone, and virtually following all safety and pandemic protocols. Group socializations are also offered twice per month to provide an opportunity for parents and children to connect and have fun together.

What qualifies a family?

  • Any household with a child aged pre-natal to five years old.
  • Must be within the Wexford Missaukee ISD area.
  • Open to any income level.
  • There are no fees to participate thanks to grant funding!

How to apply?

Those who are interested in the Family Links program need only contact Oasis Family Resource Center and ask for the Parenting Department Supervisor, Mary Campbell, at 231-775-7299.

We currently have openings! If you know of any family who may qualify, please refer them to Family Links. We would love to help.
