A Multi-faceted Agency
OASIS/Family Resource Center is a private, non-profit community-based
agency serving Wexford and Missaukee counties. Our mission is
to strengthen and safeguard the families of our area.
Founded in 1984, OASIS is a comprehensive domestic violence services
program providing residential shelter and advocacy as well as
non-residential counseling, advocacy and support services to
victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness.
The Family Resource Center provides educational and support services
to all families from Wexford and Missaukee counties. Services
are offered in-home, in a school setting and on-site. Classes include:
- Divorce Adjustment for adults and children
- Anger Management for children
- Women's Empowerment Group
- Alternatives to Violence men's group
- Stress Management classes
- Parenting support groups
- Parenting education classes
Second Chance Retail store, located at 272 Bell Ave. in Cadillac,
MI was founded in 1985 to support the mission of our agency.
All revenues from this resale shop support the services offered
by OASIS/Family Resource Center.
