How you can help! As a non-profit agency, OASIS/Family Resource Center
relies largely on the support of individuals and businesses in
our local community. The families who turn to us for safety,
support, information, resources and shelter live as our neighbors.
Your contribution makes a real difference in their lives and
in the life of our community.
We gratefully accept donations of goods, services and dollars. Annually
we publish a "Needs List" itemizing specific areas in which we
need assistance. There are also special projects available to
groups and organizations desiring to give "hands-on" help. Please
call if you would like to volunteer.
Volunteers are vital to OASIS/Family Resource Center. We depend on them
to provide many needed services to the community. Here is a list
of some of the ways volunteers give their time, talent and energy:
- Counselor/Advocate
- Crisis Phone Worker
- Child Care Worker
- Transportation Assistant
- Secretary
- Maintenance
- On-Call
- Fundraiser
- Second Chance Resale Store Clerk
- Donations Coordinator
- Internship placements are also available to university students
